The holiday season can be a stressful time to financially provide a meal that is far beyond the basic day-to-day dinner. One of our core values at Community Church is to “love God and love people,” and one way we live out this value is to help local families who are in need during Thanksgiving.

Want to Help?

There are many ways to help our local community this Thanksgiving! It’s a great way to serve together with your family.
On any weekend starting October 28, you can pick up an empty box from any church campus to fill with the required items and help make Thanksgiving awesome for a family in need!
On Saturday, November 17, you can help during box collections, distributions, or delivery.

Need a Box?

If you and your family need help this Thanksgiving, please choose a ticket type based on how you would like to receive your Thanksgiving meal. You can register to pick up your box on Saturday, November 17 between 2:00-5:00pm at the Western Branch Campus (1935 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake).
A limited number of boxes will be provided. Boxes are available on a first-come-first-served basis until we reach capacity. At this point registrants will be directed to a wait list.
We have reached the maximum for Thanksgiving Box delivery requests. You can still be added to the wait list for picking up a box, as we hope for more boxes to become available.
