Messages at Community Church

Grounded in the truth of God’s Word, we structure our preaching by journeying through different books of the Bible, alternating between the Old and New Testaments. Occasionally, our elders will discern key topics that need focused attention to help strengthen and guide our church community.

Sermon Series

Therapy Sessions

October 5
 - October 26
Relationships are a gift, but they aren’t always easy. Whether it’s friendship, marriage, family, or dating, our connections thrive when God is at the center. In “Therapy Sessions,” we’ll explore what it looks like to grow in love, trust, communication, and commitment. Not just emotionally, but spiritually. This series is about real relationships, rooted in God’s truth. We’ll discover how to invite God into our daily interactions, make space for grace, and build stronger bonds through prayer, humility, and intentional love. Because when God is the foundation, everything changes. How we speak, how we forgive, how we love, and how we grow together.

Greater Things

September 14
 - September 28
You can't step into greater things while holding on to lesser things.

Vision Sunday 2025

September 7
Vision Sunday is more than a message. It's a moment. A time to reflect, realign, and refocus on where God is leading us as a church. In this series, we’ll celebrate what God has done, cast vision for what’s ahead, and invite everyone to step into the story He’s writing through our community. Whether you’ve been here for years or just walked through the doors, this is your moment to catch the vision and carry it forward. The future starts now.

Balancing Life’s Demands

August 17
 - August 24
Life moves fast. Sometimes too fast. Between the demands, distractions, and noise of our world, it's easy to feel rushed, restless, and worn thin. Psalms 23 paints a different picture: a Shepherd who makes us lie down in green pastures, who leads us beside still waters, and who restores our souls. In this series, we'll explore how to embrace God's pace instead of the world's pressure. Together we'll discover what it means to rest in His presence, walk in His guidance, and trust His care. Together we'll learn to slow down and find peace for our weary souls.

Back To School Sunday 2025

August 10
As a new school year begins, we're reminded that God equips us for every season of life. Just like students prepare with the right supplies, we can prepare our hearts with the wisdom, strength, and courage that comes from Him. In this special Back to School Sunday, we'll celebrate the next generation, pray over students and families, and discover how God's word prepares us to step into what's next with confidence and faith.

The 7s 2025

August 3
This year, for our annual 7s series, four young adults from our church prepared and delivered powerful messages that point us back to God's word. They shared their hearts and experiences in 7-minute sermons, reminding us that God's truth is alive, relevant, and working in every season of life. Through their voices, we'll be challenged, encouraged, and inspired to follow Jesus more boldly in our own journeys.

The Beautiful Resistance

April 27
In this series we discuss how to live like Jesus in a world that pull us in the opposite direction.

The Last Kingdom

March 9
 - April 20
Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God on earth and everyone is invited to be apart of it.
