Day-of & Parking Information
- Arrive 15 minutes early.
- From the 400 block of Adams Avenue, turn left towards the parking garage.
- Park on the first level. Do not go up the ramps.
- Exit the parking garage and turn right on Dix Court.
- Turn left between the Cultural Center and the library.
- Turn left on Washington Ave.
- Take the elevator to the 4th floor.

I love Scranton!
This city is gritty, resilient, creative, and full of people who care deeply about their families, their neighborhoods, and their future. It is a place with real history and real heart, and I believe God is doing something meaningful here.
After serving for several years at a local church in Scranton, my wife, Lauren, and I spent more than a decade not only building businesses and serving others in this community. Those years shaped my heart for this city, it’s people, leadership, and the local church.
Community Church exists because we believe the local church should be for its city. When we say we are for Scranton, we mean we are for the people who live here, work here, raise families here, and call this place home. This church is for everyone!
We believe faith in Jesus gives purpose, direction, and hope, even when life is complicated or painful. We believe relationships matter just as much, because no one is meant to do life alone. Love leads how we serve, how we speak, how we welcome, and how we walk with people wherever they are on their journey. At Community Church Scranton, everything flows from a simple conviction: nothing over love!
