The Second Chapter Vision

The Second Chapter Initiative is a $6 million vision over two years.
We believe that God is writing a bigger and better story and that He is calling us to take our generosity to new levels.
He will keep writing a bigger and better story through us in the Second Chapter. This initiative will not only support the ongoing ministry of our church but will also position us to grow in exciting ways.
From expanding our outreach efforts to meeting the needs of some of the most vulnerable among us to launching a new location, to investing in the next generation, Second Chapter is about making room for more, more lives changed, more families restored, more of God’s kingdom breaking through in our world.
Uncompromising Faith
$4.5 Million
$2.25 million a year comes to Community Church through generosity toward our general fund. This would equate to $4.5 million over two years. Our general budget is anything but general. Amazing things happen, and lives change day in and day out through ministries like CKids, CYouth, Groups, weekend services, and outreach events.

Build 10 Churches in Guinea - Conakry, West Africa
Building 10 churches in Guinea Conakry is an opportunity for us to extend our reach beyond borders.
Special Needs Ministry
In response to many special needs families that have started attending our church, we are launching a Special Needs Ministry.
Night to Shine
Hosting Night to Shine with the Tim Tebow Foundation is an incredible opportunity for our church to celebrate and honor people with special needs.
Next Generation
Investing in the next generation is crucial because it ensures that we are raising up leaders who will carry the message of Jesus forward, shaping the future of the church and making an impact in the world for years to come.
Uncompromising Hope
$1 Million
Think of this category as the great multiplier. Instead of adding new followers of Jesus, new baptisms, and new efforts to unleash compassion…this is the category that will multiply growth!
$1 Million of the Unprecedented Hope will go to launch a new campus in Scranton in response to a growing number of new families attending from the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area.
